Carolyn Dorsey was born and raised in Maryland, married a Hoosier, graduated from Butler University, and raised three children.

She became a Pastry Chef until an injury ended that career. She cared for her father for 10 years, during which time she took up dancing and has had the time of her life ever since.

Her goal as Vice President is to help more people enjoy dancing and the social contacts it fosters.
